The Faces Behind the Veggies

It's time for some introductions! I'm so happy to welcome Eghosa and Jahaziel to the team, and (not pictured) Holly back as well! Eghosa and J are our official box Warehouse Support Workers. Along with me (Miriam, on the right in the picture) and various friends & volunteers from time to time, they weigh out and pack your fruit & veggies and get your add-on orders ready for Thursday morning. I love working with these guys.

And as another gift to me this fall we had Holly join us again to help with pickup days on Thursdays! She is also a subscriber, which makes it really fun because she knows the ins and the outs, and sees the business from both sides.

Part of the excitement around starting a business for me came from the knowledge that I would (hopefully!) be creating jobs. And while we are still small and resources are limited, the few hours that this beautiful team comes together and makes our produce box magic happen are a great source of pride & joy. 

Thank you for your part in supporting all of us. You enable us to create a bit of extra employment for our community members, in addition to the farms and producers that you support through your purchases.
